Medad Ernest is a Master pianist, musical director and composer-songwriter since 1994. He presently teaches piano professionally and he is the founder and director of the Chorale of Reconciliation since 1999. He is also the Worship Director at Bethel Chapel, and the Artistic Director of La Chorale JEV Gospel. He directed several music ensembles   for various projects and groups among which were Jireh Gospel Choir (2000-2005) and Montreal Mass Choir (2005).   Mr. Ernest studied music and jazz interpretation (piano) at University of Montreal (1999-2000) and has a diploma of collegial studies in music from Vanier College (1998).  Medad Ernest is recognized for his leadership and his pedagogy having  trained nearly 200 singers and chorus-singers over the last years.

 

 Medad Ernest also appeared on stage with some the great names of the jazz and pop world such as: Oliver Jones, South African greats Lorraine and Thandie Klaasen, Haitian Queen Emeline Michel, Jenny Rock, Senaya, Michelle Sweeny and Carl Henry. Mr. Ernest has several compositions with his credit. He recorded his first album entitled Heartquake- Hope in God for this generation with the Chorale of Reconciliation in 2006. His latest CD Project -  Simply Medad was produced in 2013. Medad’s travels across the globe presenting his music include, Canada, U.S., Europe, Alaska, Trinidad, Haiti, Dominican Republic and Morocco.

 

Beyond his professional music career, Medad Ernest simply has a profound heart for worship and teaching the Word of God with  a faith in God to heal this generation. His ability to minister healing through the gift of music has touched thousands. Medad Ernest currently resides in the beloved city of Montreal, Quebec, Canada.
