Workshop Speaker & Facilitator.
Katie Anderson
"What does it mean to 'be enough' and am I there?"
Time devoted to self-assessment and personal reflection on the areas
of struggle and areas of rest.
Katie Anderson is a creative writer, speaker, and counselor-in-training. She has a Master of Theological Studies from Duke Divinity School and is currently immersed in a Master of Christian Counseling at Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary.
Katie feels most alive when she is engaging with others about identity, self-worth, and the dynamic and ever-changing process of transformation in Christ. She understands life with God as an adventure filled with all the perils and joys of a good story.
Katie is especially interested in how media culture influences the way women see and understand themselves in the Western world. You can usually find her writing poetry on her typewriter, reading five books at once, deep in conversation with good friends, playing her piano, drawing portraits, or hiking the forests of Chapel Hill.
Katie is member of the North Carolina Women's Ministry Network, serving a community of local women in the Triangle - Chapel Hill/Durham area.
